Since 2019, the BS7858 vetting process was further updated for all employers to carry out the additional checks stated above. Documentary proof is now required for the above checks, making the process increasingly complex to manage on an individual basis – which is where Lioness Pay Services can help.

Lioness Pay Services will manage the end-to-end screening process for potential employees, from contacting individuals directly to source the documentation, analysing the information provided through our both our internal systems and third-party companies in which we work with, and following up with individuals to close any gaps so that they can start working as soon as possible.

Security Standards.

Our Security Standards (inc BPSS, BS7858) are quick, simple and competitively priced.

This check provides screening for people that work in secure environments as defined by the British standards institute.

Although BS7858 originates from the security industry, this vetting standard is widely used throughout the UK and Overseas within the Finance, Healthcare, Aviation, FM and IT Industries in which we specialise in.

We offer a thorough Background Verification form that combines the following identification verification (approval signature is required by applicant before screening):

  • Personal contact details

  • Residential address for the past 10 years
  • Proof of ID and Right to Work in UK
  • Education records (High School, University details)
  • 5 year Employment records (inc coverage for any 31+ day employment gaps)
  • Valid SIA license or basic disclosure/ACPO if required
  • Public Safety Verification
  • Basic Criminality Check
  • 6 Year Credit Check
  • Public mandates/ancillary activities records such as any public position held
